Week # 6:
As a group we picked 2 foundations to plit the money in half. The 1st one was Reboot and out 2nd one was  
we picked these 2 organizations because their perpuse was very similar to ours. As a group we had up adn downs, we lagged it in the begining but then we started to wokr together and got things down :D. Next week i expect to feel accomplished and happy about what i did, i feel like all my hard work will pay off.

Semana (week) 5! :D

 last night i was able to talk to my mom and my brother about the project we are doing, at 1st their response was blanked, and like if they didn't care, but as soon as i got more into what we are doing they started to listen and ask questions. it was awesome, made me feel not only accomplished but smart :D. They kept asking me why i chose veterans i told them i like to honored those who placed their lives for us. They smiled it was kinda wired but got over it. They are very proud of me because neither of them got the opportunity im having right now.

Week: #4
To be able to give money and spent it wisely to organizations it is neccesary to look up the organizations goal and purpose and see if it's what you're lookign for. It is very important to check if their money is being spent wisely and efficient. How do you determain if an organization is fuctioning well? You look up at their money and how it's being spent and if their money is being spect on who ever their's trying to help, it should be good, if the money is being wased on trying to manage the organization then it's the no rigth choice because it'll evetually go down.

Week #3:
I learned that the helping Veterans consist of many organization with various different issues having to do with physical problem, mental, emotional, and financial. All of the organizations I have looked at or searched through all have programs to help the those having to do with the concerns we have as well. It's important that we see the numbers before making an investment because we want to see if they use their money wisely meaning most of the money coming inn should be helping those in need not just to pay bill and stuff like that. Coming together as one is important to improve out society and it's problem, this is why I am doing my best.

Week#2 :
For week number two we were given a brown paper bag and asked to bring 3 things of value to me, I brought a picture of my family and silver ring and my key. I brought a picture of my family because I value my family and would never do anything to hurt them. I brought a silver ring given to me by my mom because I value my mom and I love my mom to death and without her i wouldn't be who I am now, Thanks mom!. I brought my house key because I am thankful I have a place to live and a place to go to, even though this isn't important to some people I am so lucky, because I came from a place where shelter is an issue so I'm extremely honor and blessed.
My team mates brought different things, I learned that one of my team make is very religious and keeps calm. I didn't know that because she is very outing and open minded. this made me realized that not every religious person is a certain way and judgmental. 

 

 

 

 

M.A.D. Cards Yo' !
My first experience using M.A.D. (Make a Difference) cards was interesting. At 1st I saw it as  joke, as if I didn't need to try, however after we got more into it I started to realize that this wasn't a joke these are real life issues that are happening have happen and will keep happening until we start to work together as one. Most people aren't aware on the impart that every little things has as an individual. We had a variety choice to pick from. My top 3 were:

I chose Veterans. My reason is simple. They defend our country the least we can do it help them out. They aren't forced into the military however, they do it to defend our country and the people they love, and don't know. As a an individual get in their shoes and think about how much they've gone through and how much they will keep going through. Just makes me imagine how tough they're having it having to sleep at night and having those horrible nightmares of war, or stuff that happen while serving. Honor those who risked their life to protect our country.
